We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Efficiency Manager to join our team at our Fort McCoy, WI location.
Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $115,000 per year
Job Description: As a Resource Efficiency Manager, you will work on numerous energy management projects, carrying out a broad range of energy engineering tasks in support of our countrywide REM initiative. Your main areas of focus will include:
- Conducting feasibility analyses for energy, water, and resource efficiency projects
- Measuring and verifying energy savings through Measurement and Verification (M&V) methods
- Facilitating alternative financing project initiatives
- Implementing supply-side cost reduction strategies
- Promoting energy awareness and education among stakeholders
- Enhancing operations and maintenance (O&M) efficiency
- Exploring the utilization of new technologies, particularly renewable energy sources
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting facility repair and construction activities
- Providing design review comments
- Offering project management support
- Identifying energy savings opportunities
- Coordinating and overseeing construction activities
- Managing Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC), Utility Energy Services Contract (UESC), and Energy Conservation Investment Program (ECIP) projects
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- An active Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification
- A minimum of one of the following qualifications:
- 4-year engineering degree (preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering) from an accredited institution and/or Professional Engineering License with a minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management
- An Environmental Science, Business, or related degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 8 years' experience in energy management
- 2-year technical degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 10 years experience in energy management
- Non-degreed with a minimum of 12 years' experience in energy management
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain secret clearance
About You: We are looking for someone who can:
- Express ideas clearly both orally and in writing
- Work autonomously to complete challenging technical tasks
- Demonstrate proficiency in social interactions
- Utilize energy analysis software such as Trane Trace, HAP, E-Quest, etc., as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Create and implement programs to raise energy awareness in federal sites and private sector buildings
