Position Overview

The CT Imaging Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services within a teaching facility. This position requires a commitment to patient care and technical excellence.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • ARRT certification is essential.
  • CT certification is required.
Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working holidays and being on-call 50% of the time.
  • Floating to different units as necessary.
  • Performing advanced imaging protocols, including CT Cardiac, Stroke perfusion, and Trauma.
  • Assisting with procedural protocols for a diverse range of patients, including those in ICU, Trauma, General Anesthesia, Sedation, and inpatient settings.
  • Evaluating images for technical quality and ensuring proper labeling for radiologist review.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Providing orientation and training for new technologists and student technologists.
  • Collaborating with radiologists and physicists to develop innovative protocols and techniques.
Experience Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting; first-time travelers will not be considered.
  • Level 1 trauma experience.
  • Evidence of ARRT-CT certification.
Schedule Information

The position requires:

  • Availability for 50% of holidays.
  • On-call duties as needed.
