Job Summary:
- Support production and maintenance to meet organizational goals and objectives.
- Create production work documentation, including change-over checklists, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standard operating conditions (SOCs).
- Assist in selecting, designing, and validating new equipment to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Maintain process improvement and workflow documentation to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead projects while meeting scope, cost, and schedule requirements, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
- Provide project management, cost estimates, and implementation timelines to stakeholders.
- Engineer equipment systems for improved final product quality and productivity, leveraging expertise in control systems and automation.
- Plan production considering requirements, safety aspects, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop operational training manuals for production machinery to ensure operator proficiency and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to resolve production issues and optimize system performance.
- Integrate multiple machines through ethernet communication to enhance production workflows and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot systems under pressure and identify root causes to prevent future issues and ensure continuous improvement.
- Engage with personnel at all levels to achieve goals, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of excellence.
- Ensure compliance with FDA and GMP regulations, maintaining a high level of quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Perform additional assigned duties as required to support the team and drive business success.
Critical Requirements:
- A university degree in a related field, such as electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, is essential.
- Full-time work experience in a related field is required, with a strong background in control systems and automation.
- Prior experience in the confectionery industry is highly valued, as is experience in control engineering and process improvement.
