As an Equinox personal trainer, your career becomes an empowered lifestyle founded on maximizing both your personal and client performance.

Under the guidance of experienced managers, you will develop and refine an approach to programming, education, business, and financial planning that ensures your Personal Training career is as unlimited as your passion.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Business Management: Build and maintain an active client base, manage schedules, and market personal training programs.
  • Service and Hospitality: Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other services for members, interact with clients to enhance their workouts, and maintain a safe and organized fitness floor.
  • Professional Development: Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotions, attend team meetings with management, and stay up-to-date on all club services, programs, and products.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through our certification reimbursement program.
  • Eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field).
  • CPR/AED certification, and certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants.
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness, ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management and organizational skills, basic computer and technology skills, energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.

Salary:

$39.50 - $70 per session; or $17.50/hr (non-session work); ability to earn additional incentive bonuses.
