  • Procurement Coordination: Coordinate all activities related to the procurement of purchased goods, from intent to purchase through delivery, ensuring compliance with company and government regulations.
  • Requirements Analysis: Analyze the requirements of items to be purchased, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date the item is needed, to ensure accurate procurement.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Solicit and evaluate proposals from suppliers, investigating and/or interviewing potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate the lowest possible cost for purchased goods balanced against quality and schedule needs, implementing purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulations.
  • Order Management: Assure that purchased goods are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, and comply with company quality standards, maintaining timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to ensure accurate records retention.
  • Health and Safety: Safely perform duties, wearing required PPE when appropriate, and observe and comply with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS.

  • Education: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; or 1 to 2 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
