We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Photography Professional to join our team as a School Photographer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for capturing unforgettable moments at various schools in the Portland, OR area.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, set-up, and tear down photography equipment at schools
- Work towards the same goals with a fun, supportive team
- Make kids smile while capturing unforgettable moments
- Get paid to travel to new places and meet new people
- Enjoy occasional overnight hotel stays with per diem (company paid)
- Utilize a photo management software to manage photos, photo subject flow, and review
- Gain photography experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to put a smile on peoples' faces
- Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities
- Valid US driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle (use of public transportation is not permitted)
- Ability to lift, carry, and set up 50 pounds of camera equipment daily
- Open and flexible availability depending on event needs
- Ability to leave your home by 4am for some events each week
- Ability to work and travel on occasional evenings and weekends to hotels, etc.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working smaller events independently after training
- Reliably travel to schools, as scheduled, for photo day events

- Grooming and demeanor appropriate for role and Jostens' corporate image
- Reliable, consistent cell phone (US) and internet access required
- High school diploma or GED (and at least 18 years of age)
- A competitive wage of $21-$23 an hour
- Eligible for 401k match on Day 1
- Seasonal schedule (through November/December)
- Average of 30+/hour work week with overtime opportunity/pay during peak dates
- Option to be paid DAILY
- Paid training - no photography experience required
- Paid travel time in addition to a gas mileage reimbursement
- If selected, opportunity for promotion to Photo Team Lead after training weeks (+$1/hr.)
