About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Repairman 2 to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Facilities Services Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks in repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, and equipment.
  • Work alongside our skilled electricians to maintain 40 buildings across 152 acres of land.
  • Repair and maintain electrical equipment and lighting systems.
  • Inspect, install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment using various electrical measuring and metering devices.
  • Complete electrical assignments independently and possess the ability to learn and utilize newly acquired skills in electrical trades.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 or four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
  • Meet the PA residency requirement.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
What We Offer
  • Full-time employment with a competitive salary.
  • Standard work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Required to work every 12th weekend and on-call holidays as assigned.
  • Overtime and travel as needed.
