Position Overview
Role Summary
We are seeking a Mobile Ultrasound Specialist to contribute to our Healthcare Systems and Services division.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate starting at $48, along with travel allowances.

In this role, you will collaborate with some of the premier healthcare providers across the nation. Assignments can range from 12 weeks to a year, offering diverse experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting diagnostic imaging ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM and ACR standards.
• Identifying and imaging internal body structures, including organs and blood vessels, while detecting any abnormalities.
• Performing a variety of complex diagnostic exams, including but not limited to breast, abdominal, small parts, and OB/GYN imaging.
• Ensuring patient safety and monitoring for any significant physical or emotional changes.
• Assessing test results for precision and clarity.
• Collaborating with peers and physicians to review patient case studies.
• Communicating preliminary findings to physicians as per departmental protocols.
• Managing the distribution of completed test results to healthcare providers.
• Preparing diagnostic information for physician review.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including diagnosis and billing codes.
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and work areas.
• Identifying equipment malfunctions and coordinating repairs as necessary.
• Guiding patients through pretest preparations and addressing inquiries regarding procedures.
• Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
• Continuing education to maintain technical proficiency.
• Conducting quality checks on equipment and troubleshooting issues.
• Following quality assurance protocols and safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Complying with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
• Observing OSHA standards for safety practices.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
