We're seeking a skilled Labeling Design Specialist to join our team at our Easton Square location in the Nutrition Division. As a key member of our labeling team, you'll play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and compliant labels for our nutrition products.
Job SummaryThis position is responsible for delivering project excellence by incorporating best practices in labeling art production to meet and exceed customer needs through understanding nutrition product labeling requirements, including branding, FDA requirements, and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual communications design and final digital art production, with emphasis on consumer packaging requiring FDA compliance and required elements such as QR codes and UPC/SCC codes.
Responsibilities- Create labeling artwork using graphics software within established labeling procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
- Develop product labels that meet strategic, quality, budget, and timing requirements to support the brand and business objectives of the assigned business unit(s).
- Work with cross-functional departments to collect content and translate it into functional labeling layouts while identifying and resolving labeling inconsistencies in graphics, content, and requirements to meet project objectives.
- Implement change requests during the labeling development process.
- Provide continual improvements to and direction for the label development process.
- Serve as a technical resource for in-house cross-functional departments that utilize labeling resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Minimum 4+ years of successful experience in visual communications design and final digital art production with emphasis on consumer packaging requiring FDA compliance and required elements such as QR codes and UPC/SCC codes.
- Experience working with color management, branding, separators, and printers.
- Knowledge of labeling development processes, color management, production art file creation, print quality management, and industry printing methods.
- A competitive salary range of $72,700 - $145,300.
