Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analysis and visualization projects to support district-wide initiatives.
  • Design and maintain strict development processes, policies, and procedures for data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and train quality assurance procedures for data analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct formal and informal quality assurance sessions with staff to ensure data accuracy and quality.
  • Use statistical analysis software, data visualization tools, and other commercial off-the-shelf or custom software to analyze and report on large, complex data sets.
  • Develop and publish data visualizations and dashboards that describe critical points of analysis for senior district leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from flat files and databases using Microsoft SQL queries and other tools.
  • Design, implement, and analyze surveys to gather insights and inform district-wide initiatives.
  • Write briefs and reports describing analysis results and analytical methods.
  • Conduct predictive analyses to inform district-wide decision-making.
  • Use version control to maintain enterprise software development practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements for accountability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in data analysis, predictive analytics, and visualization.
  • Expertise with statistical analysis software, data visualization tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience designing and leading data analysis and visualization projects.
