Established in Altavista, Virginia in 1985, Moore's has expanded to employ nearly 600 professionals across 11 locations. In 2012, we transitioned to a 100% employee-owned (ESOP) company, allowing every team member to share in our collective success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze coordinated construction drawings across various trades.
- Prepare Bill of Materials in accordance with project drawings and blueprints.
- Oversee the layout and installation of diverse plumbing piping materials including PVC, CPVC, black iron, copper, and brass.
- Install plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals, sinks, hoods, drains, and vents.
- Lead and mentor all field personnel.
- Exhibit exceptional customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate necessary equipment on-site.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
- Familiarity with technology usage, including iPads, iPhones, and relevant applications.
- Knowledge of steam systems.
- Possession of a Journeyman or Master Card.
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $28 to $38, based on experience and skill level.
