Job Summary

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a highly skilled Research Project Coordinator to join the Kinesiology & Health department within the School of Arts and Sciences.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of clinical research, including development, coordination, and implementation of exercise training, data acquisition/entry, and proper study documentation.
  • Work with Dr. Malin and colleagues on a NIH-NIDDK R01 project investigating the relation of extracellular vesicles on vascular health and insulin sensitivity in people with type 2 diabetes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years relevant research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • Good communication skills and computer literacy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Research experience working with adults and other special populations.
  • Experience in health risk appraisal, comprehensive fitness testing, and exercise prescription.
  • Certification obtained through ACSM or NSCA.
  • Advanced degrees in Kinesiology or similar area.
