Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team at HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine, complex, or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.
- Communicate effectively with other care providers, including physicians, nurses, and business office staff, to ensure continuity of patient care and meet the needs of our patients.
- Demonstrate accuracy for all testing performed and maintain high standards of quality control and proficiency testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
