Embedded Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Developer to join our team at Amentum in Columbia, Maryland. As an Embedded Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting mission-critical projects that impact national security and intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform embedded development, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, software development, and operational support to solve complex problems.
  • Apply expertise in C/C++ development, reverse engineering, x86 Assembly, and automated unit testing in Python to develop capabilities and research existing functionality.
  • Provide support throughout the development life cycle to the test team.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Software System Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and/or Testing.
  • Development experience with Virtual Environments (VMWare/ESXi, Open Stack, Open vSwitch, QEMU).
  • Experience with Software Reverse Engineering and/or debugging tools, such as IDAPro, OllyDbg, gdb, Ghidra, etc.
  • Familiarity with assembly languages (development or reversing).
  • Knowledge of low-level, systems programming concepts.
Clearance and Education:
  • TS/SCI w/Poly clearance required.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum two years' experience with Software development experience using C, C/C++, or other proprietary languages.
  • Minimum two years' experience with embedded platforms (Linux, Unix, Android, VxWorks).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis and exploit development.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with Assembly.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications architecture and protocols.
