Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN On Call Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care in Broadview Heights and surrounding counties. As an RN On Call Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Triage of after-hours patient and family phone calls, determining the need for services and delegating nursing visits to appropriate staff members
  • Data collection on physical, psychological, social, and spiritual factors impacting patient and family needs, initiating interventions as necessary
  • Clinical pronouncement of death and provision of support to families
  • Accurate documentation of clinical records through timely preparation of care plans and progress notes

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state
  • At least two years of varied work experience as a professional nurse
  • Demonstrated skill in nursing practices and clinical judgments
  • The ability to cope with family emotional stress and tolerance of individual lifestyles
  • Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with proof of insurance
