Job Title: Systems Engineer

At KIHO MILITARY ACQUISITION CONSULTING, INC., we are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for applying principles of engineering to model systems/subsystems using applicable military/nonmilitary standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the logical and systematic derivation of component and associated interface requirements into design solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints;
  • Identify and quantify associated risks;
  • Read and create schematics and requirements artifacts;
  • Perform technical analyses for one or more subsystem components to include design, fabrication, test, integration, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal;
  • Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems;
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to senior staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline;
  • 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area;
  • Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques;
  • Architecture, CONOPS, and use case development using model-based systems engineering methodologies;
  • Experience in capturing, tracing, analyzing, and managing requirements;
  • Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred;
  • Experience with SysML in Cameo, Magic Draw, or similar MBSE tools;
  • Familiarization with configuration management/defect tracking tools and peer reviews;
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
