About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Specialist to join our team. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking SGWS products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Display Management: Build and maintain visually appealing displays that showcase SGWS products in retail accounts.
  • Product Stocking: Ensure that all SGWS products are properly stocked and displayed in retail accounts.
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with retail customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Point-of-Sale Materials: Install promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and promote SGWS products.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that products are always available for display and sale.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of experience in a related field, such as retail sales, merchandising, or customer service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and strong attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 56 pounds, stand for long periods, and walk or drive for extended periods.
