We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Craniofacial Surgeon to join our team at The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.

About the Position

The successful candidate will provide craniofacial and maxillofacial care to children and adults, as well as general plastic and reconstructive care in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in craniofacial and maxillofacial surgery
  • Teach and supervise trainees and students in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Engage in scholarly activity and contribute to the advancement of the field
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

  • Hold a medical doctorate or equivalent
  • Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois
  • Be Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
  • Have completed an accredited fellowship or equivalent training in plastic surgery

We especially welcome applicants with fellowship training in craniofacial surgery and who are comfortable performing microsurgery.
