Job Overview

Your primary responsibilities will include managing laundry operations, such as washing and folding linens, while also ensuring that public areas are kept tidy and welcoming. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial laundry equipment and the physical capability to lift 20-40 pounds regularly. We value personable, organized team players who take pride in their work.

In addition to laundry duties, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, including dusting, trash collection, and floor maintenance.

Compensation:

$16 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load laundry into washing machines and adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning agents.
  • Monitor laundry machinery and report any maintenance needs to the facilities manager.
  • Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies and communicate any shortages to the general manager.
  • Dry linens and clothing according to manufacturer specifications after washing.
  • Examine linens for stains and apply appropriate cleaning methods to address them.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to consistently lift 20 pounds.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in laundry services, housekeeping, or a related role.
  • Strong work ethic along with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and products.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
