Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of public works operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure the longevity and integrity of our transportation system.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructures, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a type A Commercial Driver's License within six months of appointment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of transportation system maintenance and repair techniques, including concrete and asphalt construction.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, communicate effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
