We are seeking a highly skilled IT Collaboration Engineer to join our dynamic team at Databricks, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of collaboration and innovation within our organization. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our collaboration tools and platforms, ensuring seamless communication and employee productivity.

About the Role:

  • You will work closely with our team to identify gaps and shortcomings in our current collaboration tools and platforms, envisioning innovative solutions to enhance the overall user experience.
  • As a Collaboration Engineer, you will administer and optimize collaboration tools, including G Suite, Slack, Glean, Moveworks, GitHub, Confluence, Jira, iPaas, Pager Duty, Teams, etc.
  • Ensure these tools align with defined standards and enhance overall employee collaboration, streamlining search functionalities for seamless navigation.
  • You will collaborate with Legal and compliance teams to ensure collaboration tools adhere to data compliance standards, fulfilling eDiscovery requests using vendor tools or custom code/APIs.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science preferred) and 5+ years of experience administering and/or engineering collaboration tools with a focus on Google Workspace, Slack, Secure Email gateways, chatbots, as well as automation.
  • Proficient in managing Gmail enterprise tenants under Google Workspace.
  • Experience in automation scripting using Python, Go, Powershell, Javascript, Okta workflows, or other relevant languages and automation.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to collaboration tools and data handling.
  • The ability to identify root causes of issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills and experience working on multi-functional, cross-team projects.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $114,600 - $202,700 USD per year, depending on location and experience. Zone 1: $114,600 - $202,700 USD; Zone 2: $103,100 - $182,400 USD; Zone 3: $97,400 - $172,300 USD; Zone 4: $91,700 - $162,200 USD.
