Human Resources Co-Op Position:
This opportunity is designed for individuals seeking a paid internship with a housing stipend in the aerospace manufacturing sector.

*This role requires a minimum commitment of 3 months. Part-time employment (20+ hours/week) for 6 months is also acceptable.

Overview of the Human Resources Internship

The Human Resources Intern will support the local HR team in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute a variety of administrative tasks to assist the HR department, including the preparation and management of letters, reports, and employee communications.

- Engage in labor relations activities, including handling grievances and managing contracts.

- Support recruitment efforts and assist with orientation and onboarding processes.

- Manage new hire probationary forms and track the onboarding progress of all new employees.

- Maintain an accurate employee training database and generate reports for relevant personnel as needed.

- Coordinate and take part in HR initiatives such as mass communications, open enrollment, and health and wellness programs.

- Handle incoming and outgoing department mail, ensuring timely distribution.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Duties

- Participate in the Health and Wellness committee.

Qualifications

- Competencies:
- Strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills are essential for preparing documentation.

Education and Experience

- Currently enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or a related field.

Special Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with basic office equipment is also required.

Additional Information

Proof of U.S. citizenship, nationality, or permanent resident status is necessary to comply with export and import regulations.
