Insurance Verification Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team at ATLii & John C. Lipman. As a key member of our business office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless insurance verification and authorization processes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Verify patient insurance benefits and obtain authorizations for procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate financial estimates and patient financial counseling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and third-party payers
- Overturn pre-certification denials and resolve insurance-related issues
- Provide exceptional patient service and support
- Proven experience in healthcare, particularly in surgical subspecialties
- Strong understanding of scheduling templates, protocols, and requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other software systems
