About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Clinic team. As a RN, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
Responsibilities:- Assess the operating room/procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and take appropriate actions and document in response to manifested anxiety or distress.
- Request Social Services/Pastoral Care as appropriate.
- Formulate an individualized plan of care, as indicated, and evaluate for effectiveness.
