At The City of Providence, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated FSRI Service Coordinator II to join our team. This role is a critical part of our Early Intervention program, providing essential support to families and children in need.

Job Summary:

The FSRI Service Coordinator II will serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring they receive the necessary EI services and supports as outlined in the Rhode Island Early Intervention Certification Standards. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood development, family-centered practices, and community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to families, addressing their unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized family service plans.
  • Conduct home visits and community-based assessments to identify family strengths and needs.
  • Connect families with community resources, services, and support groups.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of family interactions and service plans.
Requirements:
  • Degree, certification, and/or RI license that meets the requirements of a qualified professional consistent with the RI Early Intervention Personnel Standards.
  • Registered Nurse: RN license through the RI Department of Health
  • Educator: Bachelors Degree with an early childhood related teaching certification through RIDE OR a Masters degree in an early childhood related field OR a Rhode Island Early Intervention Certificate from EOHHS.
  • Social Worker: RI License (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LICSW)
  • Minimum of one year experience working with infants and toddlers in natural environments.
  • Current RI drivers license.
  • Current auto insurance.
  • Current Infant/Child/Adult CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
