About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits, including tuition reimbursement and a sign-on bonus for qualified external hires.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) plays a vital role in enhancing patient care through expert consultation and the implementation of best practices in nursing. With a master's degree in nursing and extensive clinical experience, the CNS provides leadership, education, and research within their specialty.

Responsibilities
  • Provides expert consultation and implements improvements in patient care delivery
  • Develops and implements nursing practice that incorporates established national specialty practice guidelines, regulatory requirements, and outcomes from nursing and healthcare research
  • Leverages clinical expertise to influence care outcomes and advance patient care delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing with a clinical focus from an accredited school of nursing
  • An Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Three years of experience in the area of specialty, including three years of clinical experience in the ED

Estimated Salary Range

$54.43 - $87.63 per hour, based on location and experience.
