Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and repairs to electrical systems, including installation, removal, and maintenance of electrical lines, automatic controls, and switches.

* Conduct minor repairs to printed circuit boards and perform repair work on electric motors, except rewinding.

* Work with facilities or department manager to lay out work to be done and determine necessary materials.

* Use metal joining and burning equipment, drill presses, hand and stationary power tools, and other equipment as required.

* Participate in on-the-job training and assist in training of employees as needed.

Requirements:

* Valid journeyman electrician license from the State of Michigan.

* Knowledge of electrical requirements and codes as required by local, state, and/or federal regulations.

* Ability to perform Logics 5000 edits on PLC's and successfully complete annual training and examinations in Class III Asbestos Work and Competent Person.

* High school diploma or GED.

Physical Demands:

* Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop as required.
