Job SummaryThis Healthcare Support Associate will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform a variety of direct patient care activities, including addressing the personal needs and comforts of patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize multiple requests, and possess the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to a diverse range of patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care activities, including assisting with personal needs and comforts
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Prioritize multiple requests and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Communicate effectively with staff and patients
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year experience as a nursing assistant or current enrollment in a nursing program with completion of Fundamentals of Nursing I & II
- A valid Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant license or proof of enrollment in an accredited nursing school
