About the Role

Elevate RS Corp is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Execute Machining Operations: Study work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the best approach for machining. Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to ensure accurate results.
  • Manage Stock Inventory: Check stock levels, anticipate needs, and place orders to maintain an adequate supply. Verify receipt of stock and ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Program and Operate CNC Machines: Enter instructions, set tool registers, and calculate requirements for milling and turning operations. Prove part programs to ensure accuracy.
  • Set Up and Maintain CNC Machines: Install and adjust chucks, tools, and attachments. Indicate vices and tram heads to ensure precise positioning.
  • Load and Operate Feed Mechanisms: Load stock into position and ensure smooth operation.
  • Verify Settings and Quality: Measure positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces to ensure adherence to international standards.
  • Maintain Specifications and Quality Assurance: Observe drilling, grooving, and cutting operations. Take measurements, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain Safe Operations: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Maintain Equipment and Continuity: Complete preventive maintenance, follow manufacturer's instructions, and troubleshoot malfunctions to ensure continuous operation.
  • Document Actions and Continuity: Complete production and quality logs to maintain a record of activities and ensure continuity among work shifts.
  • Update Job Knowledge: Participate in educational opportunities and read technical publications to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Achieve Organizational Goals: Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
