License: For start dates 2-4 weeks out, must have the appropriate licensing in hand. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process to be submitted.

Must-Have: Orientation hours: 12

Job Description:
  • Work involves floating within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby as required by all travelers.
  • Must work every other weekend.
  • Work includes holidays, with a requirement to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
  • Effective stated deadline, some states will not allow certain roles to work in their facilities, with specific exceptions for Perioperative/OR RN roles and other allied roles.
  • Exempt roles from the restriction include Perioperative settings like Endoscopy, IR, PACU, Cath Lab, and SDS roles.
  • Local applicants not accepted for certain units.
  • Mandatory university accreditation by the ACEN or CCNE at the time of hire.
  • Requirement of two supervisor references.
  • Important to observe local rules regarding accepted positions.
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations as required by the facility.
  • Background policy noted prior to offers being made.
  • Perm or PRN employees must have a 12-month gap before applying as a traveler.
