Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under the supervision of a physician.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including medical gas administration and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct patient testing, operate and maintain respiratory equipment, and provide mechanical ventilation support.
  • Maintain artificial airways, assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and educate patients on proper care and management.
  • Document patient records, clean equipment, and adhere to safety and infection control practices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Respiratory Therapist license from the State Board for Respiratory Care.
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification in Respiratory Therapy (CRT).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • BASIC Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
