Job Summary
As a Patient Flow Coordinator RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transition of patients through our healthcare system. You will work closely with our Central Bed Management team to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and placements within our facilities. Your expertise will help us optimize bed utilization, reduce wait times, and improve patient throughput.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standardized processes for patient admissions and transfers.
- Collaborate with our Emergency Department, inpatient units, and other stakeholders to improve care transitions.
- Analyze bed turnaround times and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support efforts to strengthen our utilization of current systems and improve patient throughput.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
- 3 years of Acute Care Nursing experience.
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
