Clinical Nurse II: Vascular Surgery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our Vascular Surgery team at Albany Medical Center.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Nurse II will be responsible for assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care and supervision to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
- At least 1 year of experience in acute care nursing
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
