Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse I: C4/C3W: Infectious Disease/ Secure Unit position is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care, promote a culture of safety, and advance the nursing profession through professional development and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care.
  • Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided.
  • Participate in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP) to progress from novice to competent within a specialty, and be eligible to apply for advancement to proficient or expert status as outlined in the NPAP.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required, with experience in a similar role highly preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is $33.00-$33.99 per hour, depending on experience.
