About the Role

This position involves operating standard hand tools, power equipment, vehicles, and heavy equipment to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and construction of roads and roadside features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate power tools such as chainsaws, weed eaters, and drills, as well as small hand tools like shovels, rakes, and brooms.
  • Perform manual labor, including vegetation control, debris removal, and snow pushing.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair projects, including carpentry, welding, and steel fabrication.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as tractors, dump trucks, and rollers, to perform tasks like paving, grading, and compaction.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain within 360 days of hire.
  • Experience operating power tools and performing manual labor.
