The Operations Supervisor oversees a dedicated team responsible for the daily management of operations within the Midstream Organization. This position is crucial in ensuring that all operational activities are conducted efficiently while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute safe operational activities, including pipeline and rail loading operations, while managing regulatory documentation.
- Utilize the Management of Change process to ensure operational safety.
- Implement and uphold compliance with corporate standards, policies, and government regulations, leveraging the SAP Preventative Maintenance system.
- Facilitate communication with pipeline controllers and carriers to ensure seamless coordination of facility and pipeline operations for crude and refined products.
- Organize work schedules and training for employees, including safety meetings and personal development initiatives under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.
- Engage in tabletop drills and security exercises as required for the designated responsibilities.
- Ensure the timely processing of all scheduled delivery points under the Operations Supervisor's oversight.
- Investigate any inventory discrepancies and Gain/Loss issues that do not comply with company measurement standards, managing Assurance Compliance Files.
- Document all incidents, complete IMPACT reports, and conduct related investigations.
- Be available for on-call responses to after-hours events.
- Drive compliance with safety protocols, operational excellence, manage overtime and absenteeism, collaborate with stakeholders to enhance asset utilization, and improve reliability.
- Ensure cost-effective execution of routine maintenance for Pipeline Facilities.
- Oversee the proper orientation of facilities for employees, contractors, and visitors, including the review of JSA's, LTT, Excavation, Confined Space, and Hot Work Permits.
- Manage Environmental Compliance documentation and files for facilities.
- Complete the Operations Supervisor Training Curriculum.
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends, with availability for 24/7 on-call duties.
- Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC).
- Associate degree or higher in a technical field.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience in planning and coordinating daily operations and maintenance activities for terminal operations personnel.
- Intermediate proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
