Production Maintenance Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Production Maintenance Coordinator is tasked with overseeing parts and inventory management within a workshop setting.
Compensation: $25.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates purchases, oversees inventory, and processes warranty recoveries and repair orders using our maintenance management system, "Transman."
- Ensures a tidy and organized workspace while maintaining accurate records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implements parts inventory management procedures, including conducting physical counts, ordering parts, coordinating pickups and deliveries, and stocking inventory.
- Keeps track of records and statistics, such as minimum and maximum inventory levels for effective control.
- Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the parts storage area.
- Handles shipping of warranties and returns of parts to suppliers.
- Manages the obsolescence of parts.
- Engages in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge of the company, its products, sales, and services, while performing additional duties as needed to support our vision and mission.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, and the capability to lift and transport parts weighing over 60 pounds. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the United States. Experience with automotive or truck parts, along with knowledge of relevant DOT regulations, OSHA compliance, and company policies, is preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential. The preferred candidate will be self-motivated with a positive and professional demeanor.
