Job Summary

As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Facilitate discharge planning and coordinate with the care team
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
