Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and flexible Residential Care Advisor to join our team. As a Residential Care Advisor, you will work in a team-based position at various residential sites, providing care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete progress notes and other documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and hygiene, as well as manage medications and transportation to appointments.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
  • Participate in monthly fire drills and other regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/equivalent and 1-year direct care experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive an organization vehicle.
  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances.
  • Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screening, and TB test.
  • Must successfully pass Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of employment.
