Our Ideal CandidateQualified candidates must have a minimum of a BS degree in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy, Washington State license, and interest in serving under-served populations. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to speak clearly and concisely, read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction. Bilingual English/Spanish skills and/or ability to sign are convenient.
Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPharmacists at Yakima Neighborhood Health Services are part of an integrated health team providing care to patients in the Yakima Valley. Our pharmacists work closely with medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health personnel to provide therapeutic care. Responsibilities include patient education and counseling, collaborative drug therapy management, ordering and monitoring lab tests, prescription quality assurance, and assisting in efficient and creative service delivery.
