**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for reviewing general ledger entries, completing account reconciliations, and assisting in the month-end financial closing process.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Financial Statement Preparation**: Prepare accurate and complete financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • **Account Reconciliations**: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • **Financial Analysis**: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • **Internal Controls**: Review and verify monthly accounting processes to ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • **Financial Modeling**: Create and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • **Compliance Monitoring**: Verify information and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with accounting procedures.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an accounting department with similar responsibilities.
  • **Technical Skills**: Highly skilled in the use of Excel. Experience with QBO is a plus.
