About the Job

This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards, operating CT scanners and associated equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

  • Job Summary: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
  • Key Responsibilities: Examine requests, verify orders, and refer discrepancies to radiologists; properly identify patients and assist them during procedures; interview patients for medical history and review relevant clinical data; administer IV contrast according to departmental protocols; evaluate image quality and consult with radiologists as needed; perform basic patient care functions and inform nursing personnel of any changes in patient condition.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology;
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine;
  • Advanced registry in CT scanning within one year of hire;
  • CPR certification;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rotate shifts, including call back, holidays, and weekends.
