Position Overview: Radiologic Technologist

We are in search of a proficient Radiologic Technologist to enhance our medical imaging division. In this role, you will be tasked with executing a range of imaging techniques while adhering to patient safety standards. Your responsibilities will include operating Computed Tomography, X-ray, and various imaging devices to capture detailed images of designated anatomical areas. Additionally, you will be expected to uphold professional competencies in line with industry benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute intricate tasks related to the operation of imaging apparatus
  • Guarantee radiation safety and safeguard patient well-being
  • Document precise patient medical histories
  • Assess patients for CT contrast safety
  • Clarify procedures and ensure patient comfort
  • Administer contrast agents and initiate I.V. lines as necessary
  • Observe patient conditions and responses
  • Conduct laboratory tasks in Hematology, Chemistry, and additional areas
  • Foster positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on laboratory equipment

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • Prior experience in CT preferred
  • Emergency Room experience is a plus
  • Laboratory experience is advantageous
  • Current ARRT and TDH licensure required
  • Certification in Computed Tomography preferred
