Job Summary

This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration with various teams to support risk and compliance assessment activities across multiple frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset and be comfortable working in a matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct risk assessments according to relevant frameworks, including NIST, HITRUST, PCI, HIPAA, SOC, MAR, CMS, and JCAHO.
  • Prepare draft reports and management reporting deliverables, and review work prepared by less experienced team members to ensure audit quality standards.
  • Review and interpret inherent risk assessment results, engagement risks, and develop assurance plans to address relevant risk areas.
  • Lead the development of project plans to support risk assessment and decisioning, and collaborate with business owners and stakeholders.
  • Interface with business areas, technical staff, project teams, and third parties to execute cross-functional risk assurance projects.
  • Maintain risk management reporting dashboards in RSA Archer applications, and prepare and assist with the delivery of risk assurance reports to management.
  • Ensure risk questionnaires and assessments are distributed and completed on-time, and prepare initial impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with lead in providing input and consultation on risk and assurance reporting, and assist in training and mentoring team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Information Technology, Pre-Law, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Audit and Compliance, including 3 years of Business Process Design and 3 years of Project Management.
  • Preferred certifications include CPA, CISA, CIPP, and CISSP.
Skills
  • Expert knowledge of business and technology processes, risk and control frameworks, and assessment methodologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines, vendor management, sourcing and procurement, and completing assessments of vendors.
  • Excellent resource and project planning capabilities, decision making skills, history of results-oriented delivery, and effective team building.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to influence with and without authority in a matrixed organization.
Language and Travel Requirements

English is the primary language for this role. Travel requirements are up to 25%.

Physical, Mental Demands, and Working Conditions

This is an office-based position that requires occasional travel. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 10 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
