Estimator / Adjuster Role at Hertrich Collision Centers

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Estimator / Adjuster to join our team. As a key member of our collision center, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless repairs.

Job Summary:

  • Examine and inspect damaged vehicles to create accurate estimates for repair costs
  • Prepare damage reports and compute replacement parts and labor costs
  • Develop strong working relationships with insurance industry partners, fleets, and manufacturers
  • Obtain signatures and process paperwork according to company standards
  • Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of prior automotive body shop estimating/insurance adjuster experience
  • Effective communication and written skills to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; continued field-related education preferred
  • Valid driver's license with few to no points
