Apartment Maintenance Supervisor

The REMM Group is in search of a skilled Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to enhance our operational excellence.

The Apartment Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in directing the maintenance staff and ensuring the property is well-maintained and in optimal condition. This position encompasses managing daily tasks such as repairs, preparation for new tenants, capital improvement projects, and routine maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct daily maintenance and repairs on residential units
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Collaborate with external vendors to uphold quality standards
  • Facilitate effective communication with both the maintenance team and residents
  • Handle emergency maintenance calls during off-hours
  • Ensure the property remains clean and visually appealing
  • Strategically plan unit turnovers with the maintenance team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 4 years of experience in property maintenance
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role is essential
  • High school diploma required; additional education or trade certification is preferred
  • Proficient technical skills in HVAC, appliance repair, plumbing, electrical work, cleaning, drywall, and painting
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule
