Job Title: Staff LPN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff LPN to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in various healthcare settings. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Delegate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) as needed, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
