Position Overview:
Allan Myers is seeking a motivated and skilled Class B CDL operator to become a vital member of our distinguished team. We offer competitive compensation and industry-leading benefits. Our operators work locally, ensuring they return home safely after each shift.
This non-exempt role involves the transportation of construction materials to various job sites or customer locations. All operations must adhere to Allan Myers' established policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle to ensure optimal safety and identify any potential issues.
- Transport materials such as dirt, stone, or asphalt to designated job sites, repeating the process as necessary while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate truck logs in compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
- Regularly communicate with dispatch to confirm adherence to the delivery schedule and promptly report any traffic or site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all maintenance, cleanliness, and repair guidelines as outlined in the Truck Driver's Handbook.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as required or assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in construction environments is preferred.
- A valid Class B Commercial Driver's License is essential.
- At least one year of experience operating a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 33,000 pounds or more is required.
- Previous experience with dump trucks is advantageous.
