Job Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist at Advocate Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our critical care units. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate respiratory therapist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced respiratory therapy techniques to support patient assessment and care
• Operate specialized ventilators and equipment to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and disease management

Requirements

• Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license issued by the state in which you practice
• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) within 12 months
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
