Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate all resources and vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with third parties, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Project Monitoring: Review daily job reports, manage change orders, and RFI processes.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues and disputes in a timely and diplomatic manner.
  • Contract Review: Thoroughly review general conditions and contracts with owners.
  • Cost Management: Monitor project cost, review weekly labor cost analysis, and prepare quarterly cost projections.
  • Financial Management: Review project cost, review subcontractor pay requests, and prepare monthly billings.
  • Subcontract Management: Review subcontracts/purchase orders for any revisions or amendments by the subcontractor/vendor.
  • Reporting: Provide frequent updates to Senior Project Manager/Division Vice President.
  • Support: Provide support and coordination with the Project Superintendent.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of Project Management experience in Commercial Construction projects ranging from $10M and higher.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and advanced knowledge of Project Management software.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational: Highly developed organizational and time management abilities.
  • Financial: Strong financial skills to develop, track, and analyze project budgets.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and expand knowledge continuously.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial Experience: At least three (3) years of Project Management experience in Industrial Construction projects ranging from $10M and higher.
  • Software Experience: Experience with Procore, Vista, Docuware, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
